Ray Lewis

NFL Hall of Famer / Businessman / Philanthropist

Ray Lewis: Icon for Impact, Architect of the “Rise Together” Movement Hall-of-Fame linebacker — and one of the most electrifying leaders the NFL has ever seen — Ray Lewis has always believed that greatness is a team sport. After 17 seasons, two Super Bowl rings, and an induction in Canton, he turned his trademark intensity toward the communities that shaped him, building 52 Ventures to channel capital, mentorship, and opportunity into neighborhoods too often left on the sidelines. Ray was the inaugural star to join iiCare’s Icons for Impact consortium, and our first collaboration shattered expectations: a Play for Purpose sweepstakes that reached 9.9 million people and mobilized six-figure funding for grassroots youth programs. Today our partnership has evolved into Ray’s newest mission—“Rise Together” School-wide Mental-Health Screening™. Powered by a first-in-nation digital platform nicknamed ΛΛDΛM, the initiative will bring confidential, evidence-based screening, on-the-spot resources, and parent micro-learning to one million students in grades 6-12 by 2026. Early pilots show nearly 50 percent reductions in depression and anxiety symptoms and a 78 percent jump in parent–teen communication after intervention. Alongside Rising Together, Immersion’s venture-design team is helping Ray re-engineer 52 Ventures itself—using data dashboards, recoverable-grant structures, and corporate co-investment models to scale every philanthropic dollar. From mental-health equity to STEAM athletics, Ray Lewis remains the emotional quarterback of our Icons for Impact roster, proving that the same fire that lifted a franchise can ignite hope for a million young lives.

Steve Harvey

Emmy® Award-winning entertainer, radio personality, motivational speaker, New York Times best-selling author, businessman, and philanthropist

Steve Harvey: Icon for Impact, Mentor at Heart At Immersion and iiCare we measure partners by the depth of their humanity as much as by the height of their résumés—and few embody both like Emmy-winning entertainer, best-selling author, and global business leader Steve Harvey. From a boyhood in Welch, West Virginia, where he once scribbled dreams into a dog-eared notebook, Steve leapt—often against impossible odds—into stand-up comedy, prime-time television, top-rated radio, publishing, and marquee hosting roles from Family Feud to Miss Universe. Today more than half of America invites him into their homes each year, drawn to the authenticity that has earned him six Daytime Emmys, ten NAACP Image Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Yet it is Steve’s unwavering promise to “reach back” that makes our collaboration extraordinary. Through the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation he has mentored thousands of fatherless boys, empowered young women, and equipped single mothers with resources to thrive—turning his own journey from stuttering coal-miner’s son to household name into a masterclass on faith, grit, and giving. By joining iiCare’s Icons for Impact consortium, Steve amplifies that mission on a national scale. Together we are mobilising his influence, our design-thinking expertise, and a growing coalition of partners to confront youth mental-health, college-access, and economic-mobility gaps head-on. We are grateful to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with a man who proves every day that when purpose meets platform, possibilities multiply for millions.

Allan Houston

FISLL Founder, VP Player & Leadership Development New York Knicks

Allan Houston: Icon for Impact, Champion of Purpose-Driven Play Few athletes personify poise and principle like two-time NBA All-Star Allan Houston. Across 12 seasons with the Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks, Houston’s silky jumper, Olympic-gold pedigree, and unforgettable 2000 Playoff heroics made him a Garden legend. Off the court he cultivated the same fundamentals—faith, integrity, sacrifice, leadership, and legacy—that power his nonprofit and business portfolio today. Through the Allan Houston Legacy Foundation and its signature FISLL curriculum, Allan has mentored more than 25,000 youth and families, fusing basketball skill-building with character formation, financial literacy, and STEAM exploration. Now, as the newest member of iiCare’s Icons for Impact consortium, he is scaling that vision nationwide. Our joint roadmap launches this year with “Purpose-Driven Play”—a series of FISLL x Play for Purpose camps and digital challenges that will deliver mental-wellness check-ins, entrepreneurial training, and measurable community-service projects to students in New York, Tennessee, and Colorado. Immersion’s venture-studio team is layering in data dashboards, recoverable-grant capital, and corporate co-sponsorship models so every assist Houston dishes multiplies. From neighborhood courts to brand boardrooms, Allan Houston proves that precision, discipline, and heart can still change the score—for the next generation and for the communities they call home.

Kate Vollmer has never met a silo she couldn’t dismantle. A former elite-level gymnastics coach, top-producing real-estate advisor, and creative-marketing strategist, she has spent her career translating bold ideas into tangible wins—whether guiding athletes to personal bests, brokering high-stakes property deals, or engineering campaigns that cut through the noise. Each chapter sharpened the skill she values most: building relationships that move people toward a shared goal. Kate now brings that multidisciplinary firepower to Immersion and iiCare as our Director of Development. Trading commission sheets for catalytic capital, she is charting innovative pathways that align corporate brands, family offices, and philanthropic investors with the consortium’s high-impact initiatives—from Play for Purpose youth programs to trail-blazing health-equity funds. Her playbook blends data-driven prospecting with “outside-the-chalk-lines” creativity: recoverable-grant structures, cause-linked brand activations, and storytelling that spotlights measurable ROI for every dollar given. In Kate’s world, partnership isn’t a transaction—it’s a vaulting table that launches big hearts into bigger outcomes. Whether she’s architecting a seven-figure sponsorship or coaching a first-time donor through the impact journey, Kate Vollmer embodies our belief that when the right people meet the right mission, impossible flips to inevitable.

Simit D. Shah

Managing Partner, Red Lion Advisory & Chief Financial Steward for Immersion / iiCare

At Immersion and iiCare, our pursuit of scalable, data-driven impact demands financial engineering every bit as inventive as our programs themselves. That’s why we are honored to count Simit Shah—Managing Partner & Founder of Red Lion Advisory (RLA)—as our official family-office and financial-services partner, and as fractional CFO & Treasurer across our portfolio of ventures and philanthropic funds. Simit brings more than two decades of capital-markets mastery: from guiding Apollo Education Group’s $750 million privatization and multi-bank syndications to structuring $10 billion-plus in combined debt and equity transactions. An MBA graduate of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a former Global Treasurer of the University of Phoenix, he blends Wall-Street precision with operator grit—exactly the balance our growing ecosystem requires. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with our founders, Simit has architected a treasury framework that channels mission capital with the discipline of a world-class family office. His F.A.S.T. methodology—Finance, Analytics, Strategy & Transformation—powers everything from recoverable-grant pools and catalytic credit facilities to fractional C-suite dashboards that keep each social-enterprise entity on plan and on purpose. Under his stewardship we have unlocked lower-cost, impact-first financing, instituted real-time liquidity management for our youth-mental-health initiatives, and built diligence rails that give our celebrity Icons of Impact—and the family offices that co-invest with them—absolute confidence in every dollar deployed. Most importantly, Simit shares our conviction that strategic finance should accelerate hope. Whether he’s negotiating growth capital for our pediatric-cancer research fund or modeling ROI for statewide mental-health screening, his north star is measurable, repeatable social return. We are grateful for a partner who translates complex market signals into clear, actionable insight—allowing Immersion and iiCare to dream bigger, move faster, and steward resources with unrivaled accountability.

Scott Wells, CFA

Managing Partner at Red Lion & Chief Investment Strategist - Immersion & iiCare

Scott Wells is a CFA-chartered capital-markets veteran who has spent more than two decades turning complex finance into catalytic impact. His resume spans $10 billion+ in executed transactions—from $450 MM syndicated facilities in waste management to $1.2 Bn in structured-product CDOs and municipal bonds. As CFO of California Medical Evaluators, he engineered the company’s sale and seamless integration into MDpanel, underscoring his ability to translate strategy into measurable value. Today Scott partners with fellow Red Lion founding-principal Simit Shah to embed world-class treasury, valuation, and deal-execution capabilities inside Immersion & iiCare’s growing ecosystem. Together they design recoverable-grant pools, catalytic-loan funds, and mission-aligned capital stacks that let family offices, corporate foundations, and icon-led ventures deploy dollars with the rigor of private equity and the heart of philanthropy. Scott’s structured-finance acumen ensures every initiative—whether a statewide mental-health bond or a venture-philanthropy carve-out—meets institutional standards for risk, return, and transparency. By uniting Red Lion’s analytical depth with Immersion & iiCare’s human-centered innovation, Scott helps our partners move from “feel-good funding” to data-driven, scalable solutions. His north-star is simple: unlock capital, amplify impact, and prove—deal after deal—that ethical finance can outperform for people and portfolios alike.
